HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO BROWN PINAY
100 Things About ME – that’s the title of my very first blogpost. The very first time that I opened my life to the blogosphere. It took me a while to choose on the topic that I will write. But after contemplating on my thoughts, I decided that what better way to start than to introduce myself. Thus, 100 Things About ME was written.
Then comes the plot, I was thinking what would be the main concept. Then I decided it will be more on personal. As a byline I choose this:
This blog is a personal space wherein my views are mine alone.
A haven wherein I can pour my heart out.
I just like to write an account of my opinions,
my inspirations, a journal of my activities
and even my frustration in life.

WHY BROWN PINAY?
Because I feel that I am your typical Filipina, that every Pinay can easily relate too. And aside from that literally and physically as well, “kayumangging kaligatan” po ako. When I was still younger, in my teens I despise this color. I want to have fair skin. Then as I mature, comes acceptance. I realized, Beauty comes from within, it is skindeep.
I choose this as my blogtitle, coz I am proud to be a “BROWN PINAY”
But you know what, the most rewarding part of blogging is meeting you guys. we may never see each other. Some may be distance apart, but we have been part of each others life. Though you are all ” a friend that I have never seen”, you have a very special place in my heart
