A Lasting Friendship (KFPI friends)

Last January 17, 2008, we have a dinner get together at Dencio’s Araneta, its a very happy moment to be with friends whom I consider to be special.

If there is one proof of friendship that I can say that is lasting and continuously evolving, I might say that this is the friendship which I have developed with my KFPI friends. For some of us we have been friends for almost six years already. We started as mere officemates, sharing office loads, then eventually blossoming into a more intimate relationship. As days pass by we have grown to share laughter and sobs. We comfort those who have sad stories to share, we laugh when there are happiness in the air.

What makes us click? We all started from scratch, as in wala talaga. Financially, we are all broke. Nakakatuwang alalahanin na hati hati pa kami sa ulam, makatipid lang. Kung ano ano ang tinitinda at sideline just to make both ends meet.Naglalakad lang kami from office (15th ave to edsa via Araneta Center route). Mula sa 7, naging lima, naging 4, habang tumatagal nababawasan na ang mga kaibigan na sumasabay palakad during uwian, hanggang narealize ko na minsan mag isa na lang pala ako. Mga nagsi alisan na sila. Then I also left the company to seek employment somewhere else. While most of my real close friend left to Dubai, ang joke nga is may branch na nga daw ang office namin duon.

If you will care to ask me what is the recipe of our friendship. I really dont know, it just happen. I have been to different company but we never fail to get in touch with each other. kaya pag may umuuwi sa kanila from Dubai, we never failed to have a small eat out

Although for most of us, we left KFPI half heartedly because of different circumstances in the workplace but nevertheless we remain friends. We all share a memory that will last a lifetime.
