The other week I went to Marilao Grand Villa, the subdivision that I previously mentioned before where we bought a modest house and lot. I paid our last monthly for our down payment and at the same time I visited the subdivision to see the developments. The last time I visited the place was almost 7 months ago, the place was full of excavation everywhere. There were still no structure except for the water tank and road concreting. But now there are lots of improvements. We can now see the community – the neighborhood where we will belong.
To my excitement, I headed to Block 18 Lot 1 – the future address of my family. It was a long walk and so muddy brought about by the rain. Tractors, gravel and sand, different construction tools like air tools, drills abound almost everywhere in sight. I feel that everything was in disarray. I almost regret going there with all the mud sticking in my shoes. But when I saw our house, our dreams started to unfold right into my very eyes. It was not yet finished but the structure is already there. I took pictures so I can send it to my OFW hubby. When I head home, I immediately uploaded the pics and sent it to my hubby. Slowly both of us almost cried with happiness because all our dreams are already becoming a reality and our sacrifices is slowly paying off. We started to create our plans, our long term plans so that my husband will be home soon. We started to plan even more; the little space (garage) will be converted into a water refilling station and a grocery store. Since ours was an end unit corner lot facing the main road it is conducive for a business. Alas, he will soon be back for good this 2010 and never will we be apart from each other again.I cannot wait for the turn-over but definitely that will be another story.
Block 18 Lot 1 – this is another turn-key in our life. This is where we will start our life anew, together forever we will be.
