But if you will ask me if what is the best gift I ever received this Christmas, it is the handmade scrap holiday greetings done by no less that my two angels – Ishi and Icko. I cried when they handed it to me. It was a scrapbook style holiday greetings for me and their Papa. No amount of money can ever replace the happiness and pride that I have in my heart that moment. My husband and I are both proud of our kids. I am glad that we are able to raise them and taught them the value of love for their family.

Although my Christmas is not really complete since we are not together with my OFW hubby, I am really trying my best to give my kids a very happy yet normal holidays. Sobering should not be felt by my kids, they deserve to be happy. Again and again thanks to the wonder of technology, we got to communicate thru chat with our husband. Physically he is not with us, but virtually he is.
I know that there will be more Christmases to come, and each day I am getting more excited on all the wonderful gifts that my husband and I will receive from our two wonderful children.
We love you Ishi and Icko – both of you are our bundle of joy and the source of our happiness.

Hi Cielo,
It reminded me of my how my christmas cards made my parents so happy whenever they received greeting cards form us. Material things cannot replace the the loneliness we felt for 28 years we haven’t celebrate christmas together as whole family.
My parents are OFW but their love inspires us and that distance did not prevent us to celebrate christmas note that there were no telephones, sms, and email at that time but just the thought of them made us happy.
This christmas fulfilled our wish to be together and we thank God for it.
I Wish you a Happy New Year and yo your family.
that is sweet! happy new year to you and your family!
