Clean air is what all the people need inside and outside of our house. A filter used with a heating and cooling system is in need in the quality of air circulating all throughout the house. We can choose the correct filter and replace it on a regular basis that will help our family breathe more easily. Dirty evaporator coils and heat exchangers makes the unit works harder, thus maintaining the filter clean helps lengthen the life of the Aircon unit.
Of course, the filters also clean the air that our families breathe. The micro dusts and amount of tiny particles in our home’s air will depend on how many people and pets live in the house and what activities happening around our home. Members of the families who are having asthma or allergies should be extra careful about keeping home air filters clean.
Last April 2009 my OFW hubby purchase a 2 ton window type air conditioning unit, he decided to buy this 2 ton capacity because it is based on the size of our room and he consider that bigger capacity of aircon unit with a smaller room helps the compressor run at a very short time and consumption of electricity will be less. These coming January 2010, we will call the supplier of this aircon unit for the periodical check up of the aircon because it is one of the benefits when we purchase this unit. They will check and clean the HAVC filters in order not to damage the coils, and they will check the unit itself for any abnormalities. Proper maintenance of this unit helps prolong the life of the Aircon unit.
So always remember, there can also be pollution right inside your own house, so do not forget to check your aircon to ensure clean air indoor
