Buttered Shrimp Dampa Style
Buttered Garlic Shrimp is the undisputed favorite of my family everytime we would eat out at Dampa (be it in Macapagal or Libis). I decided to bring Dampa style cooking in our home, luckily I was able to master the art of cooking it. Whenever there is a potluck family party this is my most requested share.
There are several hits and misses, but I was able to find the best recipe and proportion of the ingredients to match the taste of Dampa.

i miss the dampa style buttered garlic shrimp. when i was still in the philippines, my friends and I would usually have a mini get-together in Libis and this is one of my favorite dishes…

I always get this kind of thing when I eat out but have never been brave enough to try and make these myself. I have always wanted to and wonder the best way to go about it, I will try making these for my sisters birthday at the weekend!

It is nice of you to share this good recipe, I really love eating sea foods, specially shrimp but to be honest in the place where I use to live, shrimp is very expensive at the same time with the crabs, I am just wondering if I can use small shrimp in cooking this?

No wonder, it is also a favorite of my family. We don’t do it typical dampa style but still, it tastes great.
