I am part of the Employee Relationship Commitee of our Company. Actually this is an additional task apart from my actual work but I am enjoying it. As part of our task, we conceptualize employees activities to be able to achieve “Work, Life and Balance in the work place”. The group is still in its infancy stage but I hope that our team will be able to have the right judgement to represent employees’ concern relative to other activities away from their usual work.
This time around we are busy preparing for our company Christmas party. We had already set the theme (it is Bagets vs. KPop) – a colorful party I know it will be. Christmas Party program has now been in place. Since TV5 is our Kapatid, we decided to have an Talentadong Pinoy contest. I was the one assingened to do the mechanics of the contest and the teaser as well. I know that this is a welcome respite from the pressure and stress at work.
Last Company anniversary was a real dab and a bore and we hope that since this committee was formed we would be able to bring back the fun and enthusiasm of our fellow employees. Life is not really that good economically and occasions like this should bring good vibes and positivity to the employees.
As a tradition, I hope that as we shout “Bonus, Bonus, Bonus” at the top of our lungs, the management will be equally enthusiastic to reciprocate by announcing that there is indeed a “Bonus”. If that will be the case the Christmas party will be all the more fun and apart from the many raffle prizes that they can bring home everyone will go home with a big big smile on their face.
On the side note: I have seen parties hosted similar to the San Antonio wedding disc jockeys and Company Christmas party San Antonio. I will be getting more ideas from this, we have 2 months more to gear up for our company Christmas party
How I wish that our company will have a Christmas Party this coming 2012 since last year was a sad Christmas for us because of the country’s calamities.
