I had been announcing here in my blogs and FB page that I am now into Real Estate. Apart from being a corporate slave, an OFW wifey and a wonder Mom – I have ventured into Real Estate. At first I decided to venture into it just to augment my income, I also have second thoughts in joining the band wagon. Although I know that I have a gift in selling, I also have enough network to tap, I am not really quite sure if REAL ESTATE Selling is for me.
Thanks God that I found a company where the culture is so different from any other traditional real estate company. Thanks God i found – DRIVEN Marketing Inc., my perspective about selling real estate changed. Now I see more of it as a way of helping others reach out their dream of having a House and Lot or a property which they can call their own. After helping out our fellow “kababayans” then all the perks follows.
I have several missed transactions, trippings, inquiries after being into it since July 1, 2012 (3 months)…Alas, I was able to have my own personal sales. It was a joy and fulfillment to me. I feel so happy having a sale credited under my own name. The more that I am elated when the client shook my hands and thanked me for helping them fulfill their dream. They also thanked me for all the stories and encouragement that I was able to impart to them. The experience = PRICELESS.
Then it made me realize that in real estate selling your commissions should not come first, you should be an instrument to help other in fulfilling their dreams.
I am happy that I have been a instrument of happiness.
I am enjoying my Real estate venture, I am into it with a full time attitude all though I have my regular work to attend to.
I have gained new friendship and day by day I feel that I am growing.
I have an added advocacy now under my wing – I want to be an instrument to others in fulfilling their own dream – their home they can call their own.
My experiences and my good intentions will be my capital in this venture. I had rented a house for 7 years and this also served as an experience to share. I would also love to encourage fellow pamilyang OFW to invest while the iron is hot – the saddest part of being an OFW is when he stays for good here in the Philippines without a home he can call his own.
My guiding quote If I may borrow a word from a respected international realtor Anthony Hitt :
“To be successful in real estate, you must always and consistently put your clients’ best interests first. When you do, your personal needs will be realized beyond your greatest expectations.”
Where do I go from here? I decided to take it to the next level, I intend to be a licensed PRC Real Estate seller and eventually be a licensed broker. It needs time and resources but it is worth to invest into it. If this time comes – This will be another story and another blog post worth sharing
