BC Blogger is Back with a Vengeance

The world of the blogosphere has indeed evolved, gone are the days when we would leave comments asking for a blog exchange link. Or chances are, you will put the link of the other blogs in yours uncertain if it will be reciprocated by the other end.

A simple tips for the blogger newbies – link building is one of the vital part of blogging specially if you are into monetization, but for me it is also more of social networking where in you’ve got to be connected with fellow peeps with the same interest as you are – blogging.

Thanks to fellow Pinay blogger Paula of Mommy Diary for generously taking the step to link us all just when anyone else is too busy with their offline and online endeavor. I know that link building is important but being a working mommy blogger, I have no freedom of time to visit and collate all their blogs for reciprocal link. Thanks to the concept of BC Bloggers, been a part of the previous run and I am happy to say that it has positive effects on this blog.\

As soon as I arrived home from the blogapalooza event my 2 kids immediately ransacked my Blogapalooza swag. One product that really caught the fancy of my teenage daughter is the white Freestyle Slap Watch Baller, naturally my little boy will not make her life easy, coz he also wants it. Very seldom that my Ishi will fought her battle and give in to his little brother’s whims and caprices, but that time My Ishi stood her ground and told the “bunso” that the “white Freestyle Slap Watch Baller” will be hers. With lots of lambing and tons of explanation to my Icko, he gave in.

Oryspa: Natural Spa Experience at the Comforts of Our Home

I braved the heavy rain from Marilao to Boni High just to be at the Blogapalooza event. From Boni High to Marilao I drove and triumphed the traffic of EDSA.

After the Blogapalooza, the first product that I used from the swags that I got from the event was the Oryspa Meditation Balm. For those who have migraine condition just like me, I highly recommend this product. It soothes and calms me to sleep which I need to ease my very bad headache that time.

The next day, I am already up and about, my usual “lambingan moment” with my bunso – mild back massage. I also used the Meditation Balm in massaging his back and he loves the smell, I even asked him if he feels any itchiness in his back and he told me that there is none and he even gave me thumbs up. Brown Pinay at the 1st Ever Blogapalooza 2011

Last Saturday (September 17, 2011) was indeed a monumental event in the Pinoy blogosphere – the first ever Blogapalooza event was held and it was indeed a blast. DJ Vince Vilongco of When in Manila and his team were able to bring 50 business + 150 bloggers with different niche under one roof. The name of the venue 5F Fully Booked was not only fully booked but oh-so over booked. Spotted are techie, foodies, fashion, events, advocacy/political and other different niche blogs…..i belong to the mommy bloggers group.

Blogapalooza Partnership

I love the idea of business to bloggers concept of marketing. It has been widely accepted in the US that bloggers are now part of the new media, somehow their clout and influence are now widely accepted. The concept was actually the first of its kind here in the philippines.

The first ever Blogapalooza was indeed a resounding success. It is a win-win situation for all the participants – bloggers and business alike. The business participants were all able to introduce their products to the bloggers thru this meet, they give various samplers and products for the bloggers to have a taste of their products and for brand recall. In return, all the blogger participants who were all hyphed by the event will write not only their social networking experience, but their products as well,

Did the blogapalooza event serve the purpose, my answer will be a resounding yesssss……for an organizers who are not really into events, this is actually a feat. Fully Booked venue was true to its name, it was indeed fully booked that time.

Business presenters was able to innovate the way on how they will present their products in just 5 minutes to sell their brands/products. Bloggers by nature has short attention span hehehhe ADHD syndrome, that presenters should really find ways to innovate and catch our attention before we volt in and group into ourselves hehhehe….Likewise, Different brands and products were generous enough to give us a taste of what they offer thru samples, freebies and gift certificates.

Finally the Package Has Arrived…..

Call me pretty, yes you may, but I prefer to be called lucky. The stars and the sun must be aligning under my favor. I had been lucky this first and 2nd quarter of the year and i hope that luck will continue to haunt me. (Blogged about my Lucky Online Streak here and here)

I am not really a kikay your typical fashionista, but seeing all those make ups that I’ve won from Ms. Lisa wake up the inner femme in me. I brave the rain just to get the package in our local post office, and upon seeing all the loot, I almost forget to comb my hair and opt for a photo session with my prize.

Coming straight from the windy and rainy outside, I immediately opened the package. My officemates also go gaga over it.

I am extremely happy but my teen daughter has been the happiest “kikay” in town.

Not to be outdone, I already segregated those which I intend to use…I prefer the earth color and conservative pallete while all the other goodies will benefit my Ishi.

But ofcourse, before I forget all I would like to give a gazillion thanks to Lisa of allthingslisaaa.blogspot.com for this fab give away that I won from her. Thanks sis. stay beautiful and continue to inspire others.
