Ageless Beauty : Mikee Cojuangco-Jaworski

Last weekend, while doing my weekly grocery I saw Mikee Conjuangco and I was so amazed at how beautiful she is in person. I really like her even before she went into showbiz because she is an award winning equestrian.

I was always rooting for her every time she is on TV representing our country in the
equestrian sport and even if she falls down her horse, she stands up with dignity and still looked poised in her equestrian riding apparel.

Her beauty is indeed timeless.The one thing I admire the most about her is being a mom because she gave up her showbiz life to be with her kids.

Job Well Done: Steve Jobs (1955 – 2011)

It is a saddening news that one of the man who changed the world, the genius behind Apple iPhone, iPad and the iPod and even your animated Toy Story has finally come home to met Our Creator. Steve Jobs lost his battle against pancreatic cancer and succumbed to death at the age of 56.

Apart from his great contribution in modernizing the world of computing, his life will always be remembered as an inspiration – he is a classic example of a modern day Cinderella who rose from poverty to his success, undaunted by his situation, he proved to the world that with brain and perseverance comes success.

To you Mr. Steve Jobs, have a safe journey back to Our Almighty God.  In His name, you will be humbled and rewarded in His Kingdom.

Claudine Barreto Admits Undergoing Depression Rehabilitation

Claudine BarretoI have learned thru a local celebrity news show that Claudine Barreto has courageously admitted that she has undergone rehabilitation for her depression. Very seldom that we see celebrities who admits that she seeks help for depression. It is said that the depression which she experience is very common to workaholics. I admire her for letting the public know despite of the fact that I feel that it is no longer her obligation to inform us. But she opted to have us informed, such a brave and daring act. I also admire people who admit to themselves that there is a problem and seek professional help if needed. It is good to know that there are already depression rehab treatment centers here in the Philippines, to help the respondent cope up and counter stress and depression in their lives.

I woke up with very sad news that ABS-Teen Star AJ Perez (lead star of Sabel) died in a vehicular accident in Tarlac. I immediately validated the news via ABS-CBN News thinking that it was just one of the hoaxes and unfortunately it was true. Actually, he is one of my personal favorite from among the young stars since I can see in him the potential of a future Christopher de Leon which this industry has been wanting.

Police said Perez was with his father and 4 others aboard an ABS-CBN van that collided with a Partas provincial passenger bus along McArthur Highway in Barangay San Julian, Tarlac.

The group had just come from a show in Dagupan and were reportedly on their way back to Manila.

Shortly before the accident, Perez was still able to post a Twitter message thanking his fans who attended his show in Dagupan.

He was the same age of my eldest daughter, I can feel the pain of his family. Death is painful, but it becomes more painful when a young soul died because you know that the world has still a lot in store for him. But who are we to question the will of the Lord, God has a reason for every season.

Now AJ Perez has come home to be with Our Creator.
