I think that it is not my lucky day today. I am about to do tons of orders from my print business Printbox, but my CRT monitor already reached its peak and needs immediate replacement. It has been of loyal service to me for almost 5 years now and now that the Meralco energy bill is already soaring high it is just appropriate to replace it with and LCD monitor. I am eyeing an 18.5 inches monitor which will work well in doing mg graphic works.
Based on research I discovered the following. Actually it is juts like stating the obvious since I already knew about it all along. It is just to motivate me even more to buy something which is un-budgetted:
* a Typical 17″ CRT consumes 80 watts while a Typical 17″ LCD consumes 35 watts, that is a big 45 watts of saved energy. * LCD monitors use about 1/3 of the energy a CRT monitor uses. * CRT monitors also contain 4-7 pounds of toxic lead.
I will be just be waiting for my month’s earning from my online activity and I will surely buy one for myself.

Because of my blogversary I decided to buy a gift for myself coming from my online earnings. I previously blog about my Google Adsense encashment, so I decided to buy a new computer table and chair. My old PC table is already up for retirement.

I was then thinking if I will buy a thing for my kitchen, but then I make up my mind. Having this new table and chair makes me more at ease in blogging and doing the orders in my online printing business (Printbox).
I can fully say that this is “the computer table and chair that Adsense has Bought”.
I am very thankful that although I am not like other Pinoy bloggers who are earning big time in the Internet, at least I am able to get by and pay the bills and some wants.

On the sidenote: I hope that I will be able to buy an affordable health insurance for my parents and my in-laws coming from my online earnings. Since they are not covered by our company.
Finally, I was able to enjoy my first ever Google Adsense Payment. I encashed my first payment from the Mr. G thru Western Union. The minimum amount before payout is $100.00, but I intentionally hold the payment and when it reaches $175.00 I already ask for a payout. (There is an option in Google Adsense to hold the payment until such time you desire for a pay-out).
I had incorporated Adsense in my blogs since July 1, 2008, I almost gave up my adsense, but I must say that patience is truly a virtue. I am not sure when will be me next payout since the amount since to be slow moving until now.
I am so happy about my online earnings. It helps me in buying some of the wants that I need which is not included in my budget. It is also a big help in case of financial contingencies, Imagine I am doing one of the things that I love which is – writing, yet I am able to monetize from it. This is not to mention the fact that I am just doing it on a part time basis being a full-time wife, mom and a corporate slave as well.
On the side note: I hope that I will be as brave as other working mom who has venture into being a WAHM, where in I can say that gone are the days that I need to prepare credit reports, purchase requisitions, inventory audits, etc, etc, etc. I am wasted from work now perhaps the very reason why I am always considering that aspect in my life.
