That is why I self imposed that no matter what I will have that ME time, not only to keep me sane, but to de-stress me and reward myself too. I so deserve it anyway.

My ME time is – Gardening, Blogging, going to the SPA to get that much coveted relaxing massage, buying ME products {hair products, Ukay stuffs and dresses on salet etc), going to the beauty salon.

It has been 19 years of wedded bliss that we had been celebrating Valentines and uttering “I love U’s “and “Happy Valentines” to one another. We may be distant apart but my love for you continues to grow in every passing day.

Ours may not be a love story made in heaven. We do have our share of fights, disagreements and fit of rage to one another, but that does not discount my love for you. I may not always agree with your points of view and your opinion all the time but that is what makes us click. Our differences in our personality truly embody the old saying – “Opposite poles attract”.

Others admire us for the sticking it out with one another, being married for 19 years is a feat in itself, not to mention the fact that we are product of a teenage marriage. I am happy that we continue to inspire young couples to stay together even during the times that we are both hardest hit. That is where the poem “Don’t Quit” inspires the 2 of us to keep on going.

There is really no secret in a happy marriage – but thanks God that we have found the formula. Our marriage is like Science – we were able to find the right element that is why we have CHEMISTRY.

I just started gardening only a year ago, since we moved here in our new home in Marilao, Bulacan. Apart from cooking and blogging – gardening is my stress reliever – my ME time. Weekends has been more relaxing to me since it is the only time that I tend to my plants.
Let me be a little proud gardener and share with you my little haven. It may not be the grandest garden, but it is a labor of love.  I don’t have that gardener magic called Green Thumb, but I am passionate about it.

In the company where I work for, we value our clients. Our business is customer oriented since we are providing services (IT, server co-location, email/domain hosting, disaster recovery services, data center operations services. Our management always reiterates to us that we should provide quality service and products to give value to our customers’ hard earned money – this is our competitive advantage over the other company with the same business like ours.

To be able to gain that competitive advantage, it has been in practice that we solicit feedbacks from our clients on a regular basis to better and even improve our business services and approach thru customer satisfaction surveys which are done manually. Being in the business for ten years does not mean that we should already be complacent since there would always be new entrants in the business. Knowing the customers’ pulse, feedbacks, suggestions and even complaints is a good way to better and improve the performance of service and product of a company.

Moreover, the information from customer surveys can also be a good measure for the organization to see how their employees are fairing in terms of performance, customer support, and product familiarity. This way they can analyze the SWOT (Strength, Weakness, Opportunities and Threats) of their personnel and their organization as well.

Customer Satisfaction surveys in our company is being done manually (although there are already survey software available in the market); it is indeed tedious for organization and the people behind it. But gathering the data is just half of the job, translating the data to see how the business is doing well and what needs to be improved is another half of the story. A business should always measure customer satisfaction since it is a good way to gauge the health of your business and to know the perception of your target market.

In parting, let me just reiterate that

“Mama Yapos”, this is the routinary phrase being uttered by my li’l son every night. He finds it difficult to get a good night sleep without being hugged I feel very happy with the feeling that I’m wanted and loved by my son.

When my Ish was still young she is no different with Icko. At night she will ask me to hug her. But circumstances had it that I have a difficult pregnancy with Icko so I explain to Ish that I can’t hugged her that time because of my circumstances. She just cried and I noticed that after that she would turn her back to me when sleeping. Little did I know that she feel rejected and she harbored an ill feeling coz of that. I only learned about it just recently. She told me that she see herself in Icko. I apologized to Ish coz I didn’t knew that I caused her pain that time. She told me that she has already matured and outgrown the feeling. Ish just remind me that if Icko needs our loving & hugging we should always be ready to give it to him. Ish is such a good and loving ate and daughter. While my Icko is my li’l sweet boy.

I learned my lesson well, So no matter what I am doing, if my kids need my attention would always leave it and be by their side for that lambingan blues (cuddly moments).

I know that just like any growing up kid, there will come a time that my Icko will no longer like being kissed and hugged publicly (I hope that he will not mind by that time), such is a phase in a life of a growing up kid.  I hope and pray that I will always have the POWER HUG from my kids.

I am really fond of wearing wedge shoes, but since I am diagnosed with Cervical Spondylosis (yes a sickness similar to ex-President’s Gloria Arroyo) I was advised by my doctor to refrain from wearing high-heels/wedge shoes while I am undergoing physical therapy rehab. Hence, Grendha’s package arrival was just very timely since I am really about to buy a flat sandals.

I actually wore it already when I went to the hospital for my rehab therapy and I find it to be real comfy and stylish too. After that I dropped by at Trinoma Mall and it was a long walk indeed. I didn’t experience having blister in my feet on my first use.

I was always rooting for her every time she is on TV representing our country in the
equestrian sport and even if she falls down her horse, she stands up with dignity and still looked poised in her equestrian riding apparel.

Her beauty is indeed timeless.The one thing I admire the most about her is being a mom because she gave up her showbiz life to be with her kids.

He gathered his band friends and set the garage up for a mini-concert. No platform or stage was needed, they just came out with their musical instruments, lights, crate amps, microphones, etc and played their heart outs for everyone. It was a good performance for a newbie high school band but they definitely have potential. My Inaanak (grand son) certainly knows the right keystrokes to get a Yes vote from his parents.
